Another restaurant to brag about...

My Butternut Squash and Pesto polenta

Mike's Native Nachos

I can't say enough great things about Native Foods Cafe in Boulder - a restaurant I can go into, order anything on the menu and not worry about hidden eggs, dairy, meat based products, just all natural, yummy plant based foods.  So Mike was skeptical about the Native (M)eat dishes, so one of the staff brought him out some "chicken" tenders.  He tried, he loved, and said they just tasted like chicken he had a hard time believing it wasn't chicken, so I'm working on him!  The polenta was delicious, the nachos great, the hibiscus tea wonderful, prices great, atmosphere great.  Located at 29th street mall  ( the old Rumba's), the only drawback is parking, we finally did the underground parking - all the lots were full probably because of Christmas shoppers, but not a far walk from the garage.  They gave me a reward card, which was free and so was my tea.  We talked with some of the other people eating around us, no one had any complaints - the portions are huge and well worth their relatively low price.  Several diners were meat lovers and they said they come here all the time!  I think, along with Leaf, I have found another place I can probably  get Mike to come to, if he really didn't want to, he could go next door and pick up something at Pei Wei's), but I will come anytime I'm in Boulder!!

Check them out at nativefoods.com.  There are several in California - like LA and Orange County and Chicago.  Now how about ESTES PARK??? Please???
